What's this Tone (live Randy Rhoads content)?

Sorry, but I couldn't find a better version of this tune on the web (live, Minneapolis, 1982).

The guitar tone sounds a little "synthetic", and I can't put my finger on the reason. I'm guessing in '82 Randy started playing with his effects more for his base tone. It sounds like it could be a light modulation (flanger or chorus)...

Yeah, sounds like chorus, and a lot of delay too. The clip sounds weird, especially the solo. It say's it's a soundboard recording and it sounds like all we are hearing is the 100% wet, effects laden signal, and not any of Randy's dry guitar tone.

Yes, it is a SB recording. The Kalamazoo MI SB show sounds exactly the same. Definitely hearing the 100% wet effects signal. Here are some audience clips from this tour. Not great but at least you can hear some of Randy's tone.
