What's with FedEx?

FedEx = AFU. I usually get this shit with UPS, not FedEx. I get texts on my phone that show a different delivery date than what's on the website. Website hasn't been updated since last Saturday. Thing of course is coming from CA, which might as well be Australia as far as FedEx is concerned. Nothing can ever be fucking local. Always got to be located in CA.

I paid for 2nd day air, but you think the fuckers could handle doing that? Gave me my $40 back with a "oh was busy and it was black Friday" excuse. Every fucking time I order something I specify "I WANT 2 DAY AIR" and they take my money and ship it ground. It's like they're too lazy to fill out a different form. Next time I'm going to ask for the fucking guys personal paypal and give him $50 to ensure it's fucking done.

I got another order from Matrix amps, hung up in customs.

It's been a bad week for GAER shipments.

You want to know what? People bash the shit out of USPS. I never have had 1 single issue with USPS. They always get my shit to wherever it goes 3x as fast as UPS or FudEx

I have shipped literally thousands of items thru the years. (most thru Ebay)
Always used the postal service unless someone specifically wanted another carrier.
I think I have only had to file less then 10 claims. Not a bad ratio.

Fed-Ex's entire online system was down for at least a week in CA. I was trying to ship all of my belongings with Fed-Ex (moved from SD to Illinois), and I couldn't order a pickup because their billing system was down. Tried 3 times on 3 consecutive days, including calling them up. I ended up going with UPS to ship 10 boxes, a TV box, and 4 guitars. UPS cost me almost $200 more than Fed-Ex would have .

The sad thing is they DNGAF (do not give a fuck). They will not work with you, they are the most unreasonable fucking businesses to deal with. It's like "you're the customer? Well fuck you."

There's nobody to complain to. Both of them are just too big. It's like sending the fucking white house an email.

UPS shipped one of my boxes a day late, because they opened and repacked it. They scuffed my small TV's display up, and opened by B.K Butler Tube Driver for some reason. The tube was loose, and all of the screws except one are now missing, including all of the rubber feet that were on the pedal. Can't find them in the box anywhere. I'm pretty pissed off about it.

I have always heard that FedEx pays better and the employees are treated better which results in better service. FeDeX has fucked up a few times on me but UPS is a constant problem. Plus I'm always on fucking lockdown for signatures and I'm the last stop on the list. When the guy shows up I feel like running out and punching him in the throat.

I think everyone has their issues with all of the shippers. USPS has been my problem with all the missensts, and a couple of lost boxes. Odds are still good though in my favor. I've been shipping quite a few guitars lately and UPS and Fedex have been spot on. Not one issue my last 20 or so shipments.

I think they know who you are Bill and they are out to get you. Take a break until after this season. They are all freaking crazy right now. They could care less if they lose a few or break a few. They are inundated. My UPS driver said they don't have enough trucks. Go try to rent a Ryder or Penske right now. UPS gets all of them.
