I have a couple of Levy's that are ok.. but nothing special.. they do their job but just wondering what you guys are using/prefer? I could use a few new straps.

Also, I'm 6'4" and always feel like my guitar hangs a little high.. wish could drop a few extra inches... are there straps that are longer than others?

I like the old 3" levy nylon straps with the suede ends. They dont make em anymore. I picked up a franklin strap (or something) thats all suede. I like it when Im playing shirtless, but with a shirt, it pulls my shirt around and makes it uncomfortable. Its also only 2". My favorite is my all leather 3" levys strap...

Levy's M4 white. It's 3.5" wide, and leather. simple, perfect. $20

Plain old Dimarzio straplock straps, nothing special as Madison Square Basement rarely needs them anyways.

I like the leather Levys 3" straps but at 50 bucks a pop they are pricey but worth it.

Planet waves Satriani, and few of the nylon ernie ball straps. I really like the Satriani's as some of the designs are cool and they are comfortable as hell, but the price on them just keeps going up...

I like the Dunlop Red Monkey straps - I have the super wide Eyelet strap and the thinner Refugee model. I could never justify getting a real Red Monkey strap, but the Dunlop Red Monkey ones are well made and comfortable.

You mean ClipLoks? Yes. The FIRST thing that happens to any guitar with gigging potential.

You got that goofy clip thing permanently attached, and all the other gripes, but I've been using them for 20 years and have yet to have one fail.

A good leather strap. I am using Moody Leather Straps.

I just never bonded with any other strap and my wife bought me one of these as a present.

either the dimarzio clip lock or the cheapo Ernie Ball.

i like the dimazio, but thier strap is to seat belt like.

I like the plain-old nylon adjustable straps that you can get anywhere for under $20.
Throw on a set of StrapLocks, and I'm good to go.

I must have gotten a bad set, because I had them on a bass for a year and one end broke.
It wasn't a really heavy bass, and I'm not exactly a "jump around" kind of guy.

i have a few cool oddball ones like leopard print and plaid and other silly stuff like that but the majority of my guitars use the simple nylon leather end dimarzio straps in various colors (not the clip lock ones). i like the nylon seatbelt material since it doesn't gut stuck on your shirt and moves freely.

 My oldest cliplock is about 9 or 10 years old, no sign of giving in any time soon.

Ernie Ball Nylon in black on all my guitars for like 25 years.

However...............On my Les Paul Custom (thing weighs like 50 lbs.) A thick Levys' leather strap. Black.

This 6'5" guy loves Couch straps - nice & extra-long.

I'm 6'5" and the Ernie Ball nylons are perfect.
