What do you use at home for practice?

I'm thinking about getting a Vox, that new AC4 or an AC15 combo - nothing outside of the Axe-Fx has gotten me the vintage Vox tone I'm after, so I'll probably skip the M4 with VX module and go with a real Vox combo. The JMI's look / sound great but they are 2 or 3 times the price?

5150 Combo. Cheap, heavy as a safe.  Perfect to leave at home!

Marshall Jtm45/100 halfstack. " the bottom cab is stashed in the closet". I have the sigx halfstack at the practice space so I just leave the Marshall set up at home. I cant really crank it here but it's still a great sounding practice rig.

Some of us play only at home. Funny though, when i was playing out a lot i left my 4x12 at home and used the 2x12 for gigs.

i got a little 1x12 practice amp awhile back, but don't ever use it.

the big dogs just sound better even at low volume.

yep, when I play out, I use a pair of 1x12's or a 2x12.

@ home, I usually play:

Egnater M4
Cad Champ Compressor
TC 1128 EQ
TC 2290 Delay
VHT 2150
Trace Elliot 4x12
Mesa Recto 4x12
or VHT 4x12
or Lopo 3x12
or pair of Pacifc 2x12's

My home practice rig is whatever amps I am not using with my band. That said I am using my marshall 2553 with my band now.

pretty simple.

our band gear is trailered, my amp I use for gigs is A Carr hammerhead 1x12 combo,
my amps at home are a 1977 2203, 1981 2204,and 1996 1987 bray plexi, a 70's modded silverface twin reverb, a custom made 10 watt head, and I just got a crate modded V-5 1X10 combo amp thats pretty cool

Right now I plug into my macbook pro and fire up Garageband....been alot of fun jamming over the built in loops. :)

it's got everything i need. jam out loud through the marshall or run headphones and jam silently with loops on my laptop.

Same situation...lol.

When I used to play out I used a 2x12 cab and kept the 4x12's at home for recording and home noodling.
