I'm running a decked out iMac with Pro Tools, Studio One and Ableton Live. Universal Audio interfaces, Barefoot Footprint 03's for monitors and a bunch of dynamic and condenser mics. Novation LaunchKey 49 MIDI controller and a ton of plugins and virtual instruments. I'm mostly in the box, but I think I'm going to add a pair of real Distressors before too long as well as a UA Satellite.

iMac
AxeFX III/Scarlett Solo (for mics) are the interfaces
Yamaha HS-8’s for monitors
Suhr RL for recording amps direct
Logic Pro

That’s pretty much the heart of it, everything else is done in the box.

In regard to monitors, knowing what I know now I’d have switched to the HS-8’s a lot sooner than I did. I’m in a pretty small room and they’re not too big, they were a huge improvement coming from the HS-5’s where I had zero bass to reference. I won’t bother upgrading monitors again until I’m in room that was built with a studio in mind, opposed to an extra bedroom with a shitload of acoustic foam.

Mac Studio M2
Neumann MT48 interface
Neumann KH120 II monitors
Adam Audio Sub
Ableton Live Suite
Ableton Push 3 standalone unit

Just jumped on this Amazon deal. Hopefully they don’t suck.

Mine's a MacBook Pro laptop with a Logic Pro X 10.5 DAW. A Focusrite 2i2 interface and a variety of AKG, Audix, EV, Sennheiser and Shure condenser and dynamic mics. Although there are a lot of good plug-in sounds on Logic, I use mics or direct inject of intruments played by real people for everything except for drum tracks.

I have an old cassette multitrack Tascam 424 Portastudio from the '90s. I'll use that sometimes to get quick ideas down. Then I'll move the tracks from cassette to DAW and use them as guide tracks or even polish some of the cassette tracks in DAW and keep them and build on them in DAW.

A couple of iRig 2 interfaces and GarageBand with an iPad Air and headphones. Just getting back into recording so I didn’t want to make a big investment for now.
