...I hear a split second of feedback. This is on my main Gibson SG. I thought maybe it was some wiring going bad, so I re-did the whole thing with an RS Guitarworks kit, but that didn't fix it. I don't have any ground hum, and it's quiet 99% of the time...except for a split second as my picking hand approaches the area above the pickup in between stops. I sing too, and it happens a little bit more frequently when I'm in front of the mic...but still does it occasionally even when I'm standing back from the mic. The next thing I'm gonna change is the PU. It still has the stock 498T in it. It happens when I'm using pedals, and also when I plug straight into the amp. I have an ISP Decimator in-line, and it doesn't really fix the problem, cuz there's still that split second of feedback before the gate kicks in.
My signal path is pretty simple...Gibson SG, Boss TU2, Morley Bad Horsie, ISP Decimator, Bogner Shiva. Any ideas? Thanks guys.
