Where can I buy V1/V2: 12AX7AC5 HG+ Diezel selection in UK?

Hello all.

More praise for Einstein!!

Einstein is everything I have ever wanted in an amp. Done plenty of gigs with him now and its surpassed my expectations at every turn. Copes with different venues incredibly well, from big open rooms to smaller packed clubs, its awesome!!!

Even at home at low volumes its tone heaven, so inspiring. I don't use these words lightly but this is for sure the best amp I have ever played through. Tremendous.

I like to keep spare tubes just in case and I have located through my own contacts all but the V1/V2: 12AX7AC5 HG+ Ruby tubes.

Nobody seems to know they exist, even Magic Parts are unclear on their site.

Can Peter recommend where to go for these tubes? Or possibly sell some to me?

These are not urgently required. I have no fault or concerns. I just like to keep spares as this is a busy, working gigging amplifier.

Oh and you may remember I needed help to fit LED's in my footswitches. Peter came through for me and they are installed and super bright. Drilling the case was an adventure though.....

I have looked at alternatives but Peter always seems very insistent on using Ruby Tubes?

I want my replacements to be up to the standards of the currently installed Rubys.

Can you offer any advice as to what to get from Watford. Its only the V1 V2 I need. I am under the impression that these are subjected to more stress thus need to be much more robust?
 
Thanks for that. I note that Banzai sell the HG+ but not the HG. How bizarre. I have been able to obtain the HG easily in UK.

Agree Einstein isn't bright. It could be I am sure but you would have to set it that way. What Einstein does for me is more of everything than I ever knew was in my guitars!!!!! Tone for days!!! Can't make it sound bad....
