YO! Question for ya,

I've sent my board to a tech for wiring, I have some fuzz/OD pedals and such, as well as an Empress buffer (which, if you don't already know, buffers before AND after your pedal chain... really cool). So my question is:

Where would you put the wah pedal? I'm thinking Buffer > Pedals > Buffer > Wah. Yes? No? I DO like the sound of it after the fuzzes and overdrives. But unfortunately, like the scatterbrain I am, I forgot to try out my chain with the buffer

What would you do?

Ebay or Reverb.

But if you MUST use it, first in chain. I don't use fuzzes, but I do dirt pedals, and I never liked the wah after the dirt. It just gets too messy in the mix for me.

Weird... It sounds so much better to me after my fuzz and/or OD's!

Upside Hammet's head, I can't stand dude these dayz...

both of mine are in the same place ... on the floor unplugged :D On the rear occasion that I do plug one in it goes between my guitar and the amp input, I don't run any other pedals so yeah kind of makes it a no brainer

me:

guitar > input buffer > tuner > wah > boost > output buffer >front of amp

everything else in the loop

Which wah are you using? Does it have real true-bypass or an internal buffer and are you using any germanium fuzz? Everything can sound different (good or bad) when combined with buffers but fuzzes really seam to change drastically. Even my silicon Oxfuzz/fuzz face changes drastically for the worse with a buffered pedal before it.
