Which BE100 is newer?

Looking at buying a used BE100 - which one is newer?

The one with the "Line out" closest to the A/C power input on the back like this:


Or the Impedance selector next to the A/C power input on the back like this :

Both say "latest Version" but I was surprised when I saw the difference. The both have full clean and the other switches I'd expect.

Line level closest to the ac is the brand new one. Really new.

Dave, is there much of a sound difference between these versions? a friend of mine just got a new BE100 (which I assume is like the one in the first picture) and it seems to sound pretty different from mine (which is an early 2014 I think - it has the red circuit board)

No not really much difference in tone. Circuit is the same but newer ones are quieter.
