Which EL34 or KT77 variant tube for a HG Cameron Jose amp?

I have played the EH EL34 and JJ EL34 and E34L's. I found the low end attack to be a little softer and overall more compressed compared to my 6550's which the amp is running now. I want to try some EL34's or KT77's in it just to compare to see if I like them in this amp.

I was reading around 2019 the JJKT77's were failing quickly from new and I see those Gold Lion Reissue KT77's. I had a quad of real Gold Lion KT77's in 1990 loaded in my stock 79 2203 and I liked them alot.

I like the well defined low end and balanced frequency of the KT-77 as well as the EH6ca7's and 6L6/6550 mostly over EL34's, it's just my taste.

I'd like to try an EL34 with a nice tight defined low end and the only tubes and I can think of that fits that is the JJE34L and KT77. I see Dave Friedman appears to be using JJ's again so maybe the QC has improved from the issues they had a few years back.

What new production EL34 KT77 brands do you recommend. Are the new Gold Lions a better KT77 than the JJ KT77, the JJ's are cheaper pricewise but that is a nonissue if the Gold Lions are a better tube?

I decided to try the Tung Sol Reissue EL34B's and a pair of JJKT77's as the JJ's were on sale so for the price of one pair of Genelex KT77's I got two duets to test drive.

I also picked up two EH7025 12AX7's that Morris amps is using in all his amps as well as me hearing good things about them so I wanted to hear them for myself compared to my Ruby AC5 HG and JJ E83CC's.

I got them from Antique Electronic Supply with their APEX matching and all were in stock. I've always had good luck with AES over the years.
