So many Eventide units out there hard to decide between them H3000 B, D/SX, S, the eclipse etc etc.

What I love is the crystal echoes sound that this guy gets on his vid in the beginning using the D/SX:

I am unfamiliar with Eventide so don't know what units can all do this sound, can the eclipse as well? Any comments appreciated.

Get the TimeFactor and the PitchFactor. Those two alone will keep you very busy and happy for quite some time. And not nearly as expensive as the rack wares. The PF is so versatile I ended up selling my ModFactor.

Space pedal does seem intriguing, but I'm using fewer and fewer FX nowadays so it's not worth splashing the cabbage on a 5 hun stomp.

italo is the eventide master. go to huge racks inc forum and get schooled by the guy who knows every nook and cranny of all the eventide rack units. i'd either get a d/se if the price were right, or an eclipse.

Another solution is the H9. I'm far from being an expert in complex effects design, but here in Europe the H9 is the same price as the PitchFactor. So you can have a "budget Eclipse" with 2 H9 + a few other algorithms from the Store.

Their pedals are cool, but I'd have a hard time dropping that kind of cash on some pedals. For the price of a couple pedals new, you could have a used H3000.

Is the Eclipse a good unit or is it better to go with the H3000?
