which one: 6505, 6505+, 6534+, or 5153

5153 all the way

Very versatile and can get as brootal as the 5150. Cleans are way better and the crunch channel is awesome.

I would say the 5153 is the best amp from that bunch, but I understand that it's tonally different than the 5150/6505s, so if that's the sound you're wanting, a 6505 or 6534 might be a safer bet.

I have a 5150 and a 5150III. If I had to choose just one it would be the 5150 III for all the reasons already mentioned.

As mentioned....depends on what you want out of the amp. My questions would be:

How much is your budget?
Do you need a clean channel?
Do you have the need for more than 1 set of EQ controls?
What type of music are you going to play with it?
