JSX over the XXX, since all three channels are actually usable and it comes with presence and resonance controls.
Channel 3 on the XXX is way over the top gain wise, no matter where the dial is. The JSX didn't use that channel for a reason.
Channel 3 on the JSX is channel 2 on the XXX. On channel 3 of my JSX, I run the gain at 5/10 and that is equal to 6/10 on my 6505's lead channel.
