White Box or Avatar?

It's kind of a toss up. I like the look of Whitebox better, but Avatar will break in the speakers for you for free. Can't really go wrong with either.

Love my Avatar. It's been very solid after two years of hauling it to and from practice and gigs.

I have an Avatar and it's as well built and finely finished as any factory cab. They offer good pricing, lots of speaker options, and quick service.

I've got the Avatar OS 2x12 and it's pretty decent...especially for the money. The grade of wood they use isn't up to par with other more expensive builders but I guess you get what you pay for. Haven't had any experience with White Box.

I have a Whitebox 2x12. Build quality is great and it looks and sounds good as well. Can't speak to the Avatar. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I have a couple of really old Avatar cabs (2002 models). 4X12, carpet covered, expanded metal grills. Paid like 65 bucks new for them. They have held up really well over the years.

I have both. After running both through the paces, Whitebox is my clear winner. (Avatar 2x12 Vintage OS vs. Whitebox 2x12 Classic Series). The Whitebox is simply done right the whole way 'round.

Never had the Whitebox but I've played a bunch through a couple of different Avatar 2x12's. VERY tough to beat for the money. Gigged with them and never had any issues. The whitebox comes with a convertible rear panel as an option so you can go open to closed....that would be cool.

I have 2 Avatar Contemporary models. I really like the sound from them. One runs Hellatone 60s and the other Eminenece V12s. Both are nice.
