White Henning Amplification Cherry Bomb #1 is (almost) DONE!

I had to pull the boards to make some minor changes and decided to build the amp back into the white chassis.

I changed the input circuit a bit and fixed the bias issue with a resistor change and the amp really came alive now that the tubes are getting what they need (35 ma or so...) and the input circuit is better.

It sounds goddamn SICK now!

No clips yet, because I still have a problem with the efx loop to diagnose and fix.

I've finally worked out the final pricing and these are going to be $3599 + $85 shipping, including your choice of a white or black head shell, white or black chassis/footswitch and 20' custom footswitch cable. If you want a custom color head shell, that will add $150 to the price and I can do just about any kind of tolex you'd like. Exotics covering will be one-offs as well as custom exotic wood head shells that Bob Savage is going to build for the amp. You can pretty much specify whatever you want and Bob can do it!

Thanks. It sounds awesome to me now that I've got the input circuit and power tube bias right... PlexRod sounded too much like QuickRod to me and I'm going with a fireworks theme for my amp line. All the amps will have fireworks names...

Actually, the head shell is going to be really cool. It will be structurally similar to the Diezel Hagen head shell, only mine will have plexi panels front and back that will have cutouts that will go with the Cherry Bomb theme of the amp. Trust me, it will be awesome - I've thought a lot about it...
