When are they taking orders and what made them stop?
 
Yeah I just sent them an email to get on the waiting list. As soon as they let me know I can order I will need to place an order with @scottosan .

I think I'm going to go with a typical super strat but damn the stars are tempting af.

Off topic I'm typically an ebony or rosewood guy but those roasted maple necks look really great
 
slow to the realization party, but I just realized that a Star is an Explorer minus a lot of wood. Drop off in tone?
 
I'm tempted to put myself on the waiting list as well! What are the current wait times? Is it over a year?
 
There is no wait list it just gives more room to breath and relax while still collecting money.:worship:

Maybe I read this wrong. We aren't collecting any money for guitars we haven't committed to building.

We had to put a pause on accepting new orders as we ALMOST got overwhelmed. I still can't say at this point when we will start taking custom orders again but I can say there are going to be quite a few available guitars in the next couple of months. Watch our Instagram and Facebook to see them as they become available.
 
The guy who bought this star snagged it 5 minutes after it was put on our Instagram as available. This is either his 3rd or 4th Chubtone.

I realized this recently when looking for a certain guitar accessory, that has not been widely produced over the last 5-10 years, because other versions have become "more popular". However, after having great experiences with it in certain guitars over the years, I was specifically looking for one, because it was exactly what one of my guitars needed. On a whim, I emailed them, to see if they had an old one laying around, or had ANY ideas on finding one. They advised that no one was producing them anymore, but they had recently had some custom made......and would sell me one !

Trust me when I say that they did not profit from the sale (after R+D, special production, materials, etc), and were just doing a complete stranger a favor.
