I am a Huge advicator of the Dual Amp rig.
There's a bit more leg work setting up
but it's all worth it to me.
In a band with one Guitar player,
the Huge Sound can't be denied.
I personally love running Two, Killer
Amps at once.
nice rig =0
i'm thinking it's even more of a difference for bands with just the one guitarist, i'll have to spend some more time in the practice room at some stage with an A/B pedal and two amps setup
i had this idea of 2 2x12s and two lunchbox style heads or something both setup semi clean/dirty, pedals in front, would be a tasty combo
a friend will normally get a diezel herbert soon to go with his 6505 through 2 cabs, curious to see how that turns out =0
One is the SE+ and the other is the PT-100.
I run them together with slightly different settings
to round out the Full Spectrum of sound.
I run them through a Morley A,B,Y Pedal,
I switch to the Cleans via. the CAA footswitch's.
The SE+ is voiced closer to the Scooped, Modern sound
while the PT has a more upper midrange that is voiced
closer to the Modded Marshall era.
Both with Crystal, Killer clean channels....
They just work Well together!!
Over the years I've had just about every combination
you can think of Bogner Twin Jet/Cameron CCV
Diezel Herbert/Bogner XTC, VH4/VHT UL,
Elmwood M90/Herbert, SLO/XTC, the list goes on and on.
I'm finally at a point where I have no GAS and
it's a Good Feeling!!
