Someone shared a link very recently to a company that builds 2x12s in a diagonal, square cabinet design for easy transportation. I can't remember where I saw that, or who it was. Any idea?

Hermida Audio.
My ported 2x12 with Vintage 30's sounds KILLER. Very small and portable. Fits my Triple Rec and small box JTM45 perfect! I need another!

Sure hope that Marshall is not loaded with tubes.

Nope. It's the new JCM800 SS Marshall. Will be released officially at NAMM 2012.

I know what you're talking about.
Those 4x12 boxes actually shaped like an X.
For the life of me I can't remember what they were called or find a picture.

Are you thinking of the "Old Dog" X-shaped cabinets? Google them...

Yup, Racer got it. Thanks,

Wouldn't think the "X" would sound very good, or what we are use to. Losing a lot of air in those.

I posted http://www.voltageamps.ca/Voltage_Guitar_Cabinets/Voltage_-_home.html They have a diagonal 212 that is the same size as their 115, and 410.
This is it. Thanks!

Those X things are, umm, interesting.

I was thinking the same thing about those X cabinets. I am still thinking about getting one of these for under my RM50 combo if everything works out great with it. The build quality, and materials look like they are top notch. The Variport looks like a cool idea too!!!

I also like how they use 5/8" cabinet grade baltic birch. That is some strong stuff, and I think that for a 212 3/4" is overkill, and just makes the cab weigh a ton.

Mojo Tone, large diagonal 212, looks like an old Marshall small 412. I am ordering one to install Celestion Creambacks.

I remember when they reviewed the X cabs in Guitar Player, they were really impressed with them. I tend to value GP reviews more than GW, because they will be glad to tell you if anything is wrong with something or they don't like it.
