Who said Einy can't get mean?
Some meaningless noodling, for checking out Hempcones + Beyerdynamic condenser mic... No mixing, except volume levels/no effects whatsoever and a pinch of delay for one of the filler tracks at the end...

Cool stuff dude. How do you like that handmade German mic? Is that a Diezel cab with the hempcones?

Who said the Einny can't get mean!? I didn't! :gethim:

The Einstein is ONE HELL OF AN AMP. If Peter in the future decides to make the modes footswitchable, or adds the gain know and gets rid of the modes, there's a 80% chance I'd get it again.

^I like it as it is :) Live players need the modes switches no doubt, but for recording purposes it is great.

That is 4x12" RL with Hempcones on one side and V30 on the other. I needed this for recording versatility, but it sounds not less than great live as well.
This Beyerdynamic is their MC834 large diaphragm condenser model. Very accurate (it is German :) ) and true representation mic. For some additional thickness I would still use a dynamic (Sennheiser 906 or something) or another Beyerdynamic ribbon (m160 was the model if I remember correctly), which simply sound great on guitar cabs, if you ask me. Experimented with various condensers in front of the cab and this works best of all, IMO. I have quite exotic mics locker with some old Geffels, tube mics, etc etc, but MC834 is what works in front of the Hempcones, IMO, and it will stay there :)
