Who still loves their Uberschall?

I have found a Ube... 2K for a used, not a bad price. It sounds like a beast, of course, and I am positive the amp honeymoon will be hot.

Who has one that they still love? I like some big fat assed nasty riffing for it. Think the heavy part in 'check my brain'. At the store, it sounded fan f'ing tastic..... If I ever do run a 2 head rig, the other head with the Ube will be an SLO. I am thinking the different mids blending together will put some evil crunch out.

Im a huge fan of the uber rev blue, its my favorite amp. I plan on always owning one and i been playing them since 2004, it maybe not have the best clean ch or be the most versatile amp built but ch2 does exactly what i like, i also use a od808 as a boost to tighten up the low end.

That was a fucking beast of an amp...it absolutely killed through a pair of EVM12Ls.

2K used it too much.

There's a few for sale in the gear classifieds section cheaper than that.

I bought a Brand New Twin Jet for just a bit over 2K+.

I like mine, and plan on having Reinhold mod it for me, to make it even more aggressive and bold, and even tighter.
I've recently played a modded amp for a major band, that was lent to me, and it made my stock amp sound like a toy.
When i'm done, it's simply going to be awesome!~

I have to dig in to this a little deeper, find out what the serial # is on this amp, what rev. Brad is a Bogner dealer... idea pops in head.

And yeah, no clean channel worries on the Uber. If it is ok, that is a bonus.

I am loving mine. I have a rev blue leather handle green jewel light.
Only had it a month or so. 2k is too high used. Got mine for 1600.

Luv my Rev Blue but then mine was Mod'd by Cameron when he worked there. Has the Shiva clean, cant really get it to break up, foot switchable Boost on both channels and something done to channel 2. Sits on top of my 20th XTC with an SS4 switcher so I have 5 channels of Bogner Awesomeness.

It is the Amp used on the Bogner sound clips that Matt Henderson used.


oh and I found Jerry Cantrells channel 2 Uber settings and its pretty spot on for me

I paid more for mine since Cameron mod'd it but have no intentions on selling it. I have seen used around $1600-$1800. $2000 for used is pushing it

I have a Rev 2 (green, leather handle) that I scored for $1700...it is an outstanding amp. Hell, the power section alone is great for taking other preamps, and the clean channel is AWESOME for taking pedals too. Just great amps.

The others are correct though regarding the price; you should easily be able to score a Blue or Green for less than that. On the other hand, though, in retrospect I'd easily pay $2K for mine! If the amp you played in the store speaks to you, that's still a good price.
