Why can't people ship speakers correctly????

USPS Large Flat rate box fit a 12" speaker exactly. Sometimes you just need to add an additional piece of cardboard folded on the magnet side to keep it secure, then put that box into a 14x14x14 and cut it down to size depending on if your shipping one or two speakers. Add additional packing material around the inside boxes and your all set. I shipped a lot of speakers and never had a problem yet.

That sucks, but glad he came clean at least.
I was on the opposite end of a simliar transaction recently. Bubblewrapped and double boxed a power amp., with peanuts between teh boxes (no peanuts near electronic gear as far as i am concerend) and it got there damaged.
Guy accuses me of sending damaged goods (though the auction pic CLEARLY shows a healthy amp before it was shipped). When i ask him for detailed pics of the damege, he never sends them to me but immediatley opened up a dispute through eBay /Paypal (without giving me the chance to contact Fedex)
My flag should have been raised when he was SOOO specific about shipping damge as soon as he bid and used buy it now.
Anyway - he requested a partial refund.... and gave me my 1st negative. One more reason i have been trying to avoid the Bay (teh fees are ridiculous now too)

Glad it sounds like yours worked out
