i thought the timeline was suppose to be the last delay pedal anyone would ever need. it has been out for less than a year and week after week people are selling them off. does anyone know anything about this?

i kinda wanted one.

If you base your buying decisions on whether other people are selling them or not, you'll save yourself a LOT of money on gear because there will be none to buy.

Well, I was sort of wondering the same thing. I have almost bought one a time or two, then see them all flipped on ebay. Maybe the pedal is a little complicated or not something for live use? Confuses the hell out of me too.

They are generally sold out and unavailable like the Axe Fx which creates a vacuum for guys who were able to get one to sell them for a profit on fee bay. Thats why they pop up there regularly.

Interesting, and all along I thought it was because their respective owners eventually discovered Eventide :hys:

Because people buy them and realize that all they do with it can be covered by a $140 flashback. That's not a comment against the timeline, but more about what people really need...

The Timeline is an amazing pedal. The loop is one of it's best features, but if you want the kitchen sink of delays it has more than you'll ever use.

that is pretty true. i just thought maybe everybody was really unhappy with them because there are always a million of them on ebay being sod as used. a lot of them are different every week too. it is highly suspect because strymon is unable to put a lot of them out. so i though maybe they were junk. but i guess not.

thx everyone! :)

I usually see people selling them for profit, not because they don't like the pedal?
