So a few days ago I notice my sound cutting in and out while using my Egnater Mod 50. Like an educated and levelheaded guitarist I didn't freak out; I figured it was most likely tube related. Sure enough, I had a totally dead power tube in one socket, and a dying tube in the other. No problem! I grabbed some spare 6L6's and read the super easy instructions on biasing the new tubes. I broke out my multimeter, set it to mV, popped in the new tubes, used the test points, and biased my amp. Even with me being super anal and making absolutely sure I was doing it correctly, it took 10 minutes... including me rechecking my measurements, etc...
After almost 3 years of ownership, I STILL LOVE THIS AMP! I recently acquired a Mesa Mark IV in trade, and I don't even play it. The Mod is king!
PS The Electro Harmonix Freeze pedal is awesome.
