Look, some people like some things, other people like other things. And that's totally ok!! Based on reviews and demos, I bought the EHX Canyon because it looked like it could do everything. And it does. And it does its version of everything very well. But....there's so much about this pedal that drives me nuts. And I think because of those things, it's coming off my board.
But all the things I hate about the Electro Harmonix Canyon Delay pedal may end up being just the things that you love about it! That's part of what makes the gear chase so fun!
Have a mediocre weekend!

Cant watch now but i didnt care for the canyon. Nothing wrong with it. Just prefer the dd8.

I didn’t care for it either. Too many options with too small printing on the pedal made it a chore to use.

That's kind of my thing with it too. I just got a DDR 3T to replace it. Much more my speed!

Whether you are looking at analog or digital, it's hard to beat the DD3T and DM2W!

Always thought I had to have an analog delay, but I've noticed I turn on the DD3T way more often than the DM2W these days...

DM2W I have up front and it works great for all my amps that have no loop. Both standard and custom modes on it are very useful.

I have everything with my JTM45 and PS2 right now, but was playing thru my 18 watter yesterday and thinking how dry it sounded.
Will have to toss the DM2W in front of it to round off some edge...

I have a DM-2w and I run it in front of the amp for any kind of conspicuous delay effect. I have a DD-7 incoming too, and that's going to live in the stereo loop of my IR-200 to provide the ambient echo of my simulated W/D/W.

I'd considered fancier pedals but ultimately the standard Boss stuff serves me best.
