Thats a f'n great deal. I'd buy it if I didn't already have a Voodoo modded JMP. :)

My 2 cents...

#1 Marshall is not known to have good sounding combos.

#2 When you say it's good for "extreme metal players" it's not really a Marshall anymore. You've added mega gain to it....most guys looking for a nice Marshall tone/feel don't expect that.

Well this thing does not have extreme gain or I would keep it.. Its more of a rock amp.. I play metal and its not for me.

Its a combo as said before. Most guys looking for a marshall want a head.

And it is modded, but still has no effects loop. If it was a head and had an effects loop, I would even consider buying it.

Not to mention most people are strapped for Cash right now...

You do realize thats teh HG mod, which means High Gain?

I have never heard a voodoo with not-enough-gain. Ever. I suggest possibly you need new tubes. I just had my voodoo upgraded with GT preamp tubes and Ruby power tubes and it has a lot of gain, more than I need.

Anyways food for thought.

Then why in your description did you say it's the highest gain mod, for extreme metal players, etc? Anyway, I'll +1 that Marshall combos aren't really sought after much, even if it is a good deal.

Thats voodoo amps description for the mod.. NOT mine... I guess something is not wright with the amp so i am sending it to Trace @ voodoo amps to look it over... Hopefully when fixed it will do what I want..

Thats a fine idea, I think you did the right thing. Let us know how it turns out. :)

I would have trace install an effects loop while he has the amp. That is a nice to have feature, IMO...

I just noticed this post and wanted to quickly chime in. If this is the amp I am thinking of; We found two (2) faulty stock control pots (the wiper had come off from the carbon track). Once we replaced the pots the amp had the proper amount of gain.

Have a great weekend guys! :)
