Which one is better and to get?
I really like the size of both of them (really pedalboard friendly).
What System do you prefer and why?

I've used the Shure for the past two years with no problems except that the cable wore out and had to be replaced.

I've never tried the A-T

Thanks for the reply. What do you use to power it? The regular Adapter?

I've not used the Audio Technica but I am completely happy with my Shure GLXD16 system and much happier with it than I ever was with the Line 6 G50 it replaced. The Audio Technica and Shure systems seem very similar, the only thing I don't care for on the Audio Technica is the molded end on the cable. It just seems kind of cheap.

I haven´t heard good things about Line6 Systems (G30 and G50) so that is why i am asking about These two.
It seems that you cannot power them with a Voodoo Lab ISO5 which i use on my Board.

I use the GLXD16. Absolutely love it. Built in tuner bought me some real estate on my pedalboard.
The battery charge lasts quite a long time. The claim is 16 hours of use and I believe it. I charge it up and multiple practices/gigs will go by before I have to recharge.

I power it using my Voodoo Labs PP2+.

Great unit. Very happy with it. I switched over from an old X2 unit. (Pre Line 6 era) Worked fine but plastic chassis never sat well with me and it went through batteries like it was going out of style.

GLXD16 user here. Can't comment on the Audio Technica.
I love the GLXD16. Years ago I had a Line6 G30 that worked great. I sold it when I stopped gigging. Bought another one when I started playing out again last year and had problems with it randomly dropping out so I ditched it and went GLXD16.
Love the tuner and the rechargeable battery and it works very well. Never had a drop out and it sounds great...very transparent, but you can also set a dB boost to kick the front of the amp harder with it too if you want.

had line 6 switched to shure glx, wouldn't switch back. i power it with a power brick or a bbe supacharger. works great. lonng, long power life. recharges quick, i think it sounds a little better than the line 6 i had. never have had a drop out

I power it with a cioks ciokolate with no issue. Charge with micro USB makes it about as convenient as you can be in 2016.

Another Shure user. Love it have the pedal board version.
I wound up using the Shure power supply

I've had zero issues with the Line 6 G50. Played outdoor festivals and larger stages like the House of Blues with zero issues. That being said I've had it since they came out and considering a new unit. How is the new G70? Anybody try one yet?
