So, I have a rear loaded 4X12 Diezel cab that I just recently bought. I went to plug in and the was no sound from one side of the cab. I opened it up and one of the speakers wires was disconnected. The thing is, I am not totally sure how it should be hooked up. When I plug into the mono jack, the right side of the cab works, but not the left. When I plug into the other jack that would be used for stereo usually, the same side works, not the other.
The way the cab looks, I think it is wired in series, is that right Peter?? Do they come wired in series? It has 4 8ohm Celestion V30's and goes from positive to negative between speakers, that means series, right?. Parallel would be positive to positive and negative to negative.
Anyway, I am really looking for a diagram or at least someone to make it clear how to hook up the jacks, so I can solder the speaker wires to the correct places and get the cab working on all speakers again.
Any help is greatly appreciated...
