Yes, pretty cool. You can play a profile, go to cab section, assign "auto load ", and you can scroll between hundreds of cabinets ( however many you have) in real time while playing that same profile,to quickly see what cabs you like with it. Really like how upfront and bold your favorite cab is or how rich and creamy your favorite vintage cab is? "lock" it, and scroll through 700 profiles of your favorite amp with that cab... Very easy, and pretty cool. It's easy to get lost in this thing, or make it as simple as a normal amp, all up to you.

Same with the Axe. These cab IR's make a hell of a difference too. In the real analog world, I never noticed that much difference in cabs even loaded with the same speakers. But, with the digital modelling, there is a hell of a difference. Strum through on your preset and change out the cab block until you find what you like....very cool indeed.

I think it does fine. Kemper played through VHT 2\90\2 and Mesa 412 and Old Randall 412. Excuse the shity playing. With the right power amp it will move a shit load of air. This was recorded with a zoom recorder.

Yours is one of the better threw a power amp and cab ive heard, 2/90/2 makes anything sound massive though...lol

Where about in Tx. are you, might have to take a road trip and try yours out if you'd be down...
Thanks, Im about 20 minutes north of Dallas. Your welcomed any time brother...

If you get a Kemper make sure to download all the Tills cabs. He did some fine profiling of cabs. Flavor for anyone can be found with is cab sims.

If you want the full effect of the profiling, but that real LIVE cab deal, I'd use the Matrix and a neutral cab. Atomic is making these now, but there are others.

Very true and the key to getting the best from these modellers. Keep everything neutral on the power and run FRFR - and let the modeller do the work. Anything in the way will color the output.

I agree completely. It's ridiculous how much of a difference it makes, it is also TOO much at times for me. In the digital world, especially with the KPA in my opinion, the cab is 70 to 80 percent of your tones. I Fully believe that. It's ridiculous how many profiles just sound "ok,
But put in your favorite cab and BOOM: insane profile number 83737 :D you can get lost doing this I wouldn't reccomend it, you will drive yourself nuts. You also would End up with 5000 profiles in the KPA.
