Been a while since I last recorded my favorite amp, so here it is. FGN Les Paul Custom JB straight into the amp
Youtube has once again f...ed up the audio but here it is. Cheap-ass microphone but I like it haha
I know most people here might snob the Peavey cab but I love it
The Mojotone BV30 has become one of my favorite speakers...
Mind that this is at whisper volume and I just had to set the mic level really high

I like how the volume is low enough that you can hear the acoustic noise of the strings and it still sounds that good.

Gonna re-post this video every time I hear somebody parrot the old "gotta CRANK a tube amp to sound good" nonsense.

I know man other than the Mark 2C+ this one had always been my dream amp and I had to sell lots of gear in order to get it but it's totally worth it!
If it inspires the riffs, and makes you want to play all the time, I think it's worth it. There's something in the tone of the MTL that reminds me very much of Dino Cazares's Demanufacture era Fear Factory tone, which was a modded JCM 800. Really dig the clip!

Eh it sounds like a 5150 here. The magic happens when the volumes opened up a bit. I don’t know exactly what it is but your studio recordings of the amp turned up sounded eons better. I know what the amp can do in your hands but I feel like your modded Marshall dominates this tone 10x

Well to me it sounds nothing like a 5150 but yeah I get what you are saying!
