2020 pre-production 100W Wizard W800. Recently serviced and gone through by Brian Carstens of Carstens Amps. He retubed it with JJ EL34 and gave it a clean bill of health. Things of note for full disclosure: Pre-production model so built into a VC chassis. Top of headshell tolex has minor foot marks from amp sitting on top. Power tube pins are slightly loose in the sockets; has zero bearing on operation and zero affect on reliability/function. This is just how some of Rick's builds are and I've had three Wizards now that were this way. The tubes are not loose by any means in the pins, just the pins move a tiny bit in the socket; it's just the sockets he used.
The amp is a 9/10 as far as cosmetic condition and functions 100% and sounds as a Wizard should. This W800 is a classic rock/hard rock players wet dream plugged straight in and boosted brings the goods for metal. Beast of an amp with a unique grind and thumps hard like all Wizards do.
