WoS plug vs C.A.B.

I'm probably being silly but is there a difference in using WoS plugin with a high end DI vs the C.A.B. if I'm only using it in a recording environment?

Hello Jam,

WoS III offers more options than Torpedo C.A.B. If you're happy with a computer interface, WoS III was design to be a software version of the VB-101. IE, way more possibilities than Torpedo C.A.B.

This said, if you have a very good DI and a very good soundcard.

Huge plus of WOS III is that you can use multiple cabs for monster tones.

I bought a few of the cabs online now and have to say I'm really enjoying it ! So, the only benefit to buying the CAB would be for live use?

Well, yes, and getting a license for 32 cabinets too on WoS III.
