solo project? what's it like?

He wrote all the songs and produced the album, each song has a different vocalist which is pretty cool. Henry and Dirk from Soilwork did all the drums.

They're all pretty cool songs, and each one is somewhat similar to the style of band that the vocalist is in, but it's mainly melodic death metal type stuff. It's got the Wichers/Soilwork type feel to it most of the time, and his solos are killer as usual.

The vocals sound really inappropriate for that song to me for some reason.

hellz no...there's no such thing as inappropriate vox. i used to make myself hate helmet and fear factory cuz i thought the clean vocals shouldn't have been on songs like that...i was wrong...big time.

I don't think it should be clean singing or something. I think it's mostly that the vocals almost sound like someone playing one note over and over, even though the music keeps changing.
