No other fanbois are as nuts as Metalli$$$$$$$$ca fanbois, I have never seen a clique spend so much money on gear that they pimp out while laughing all the way to the bank or buying $14,000,000 paintings :scared:

Look at KL stuff, they use one of his guitars and that guy can now write his own check.

Old ordinary ESP Explorers commanding $2500+ because they are white.

Kurt has I think 10 KH models

why does it say edwards on the headstock?

i mean, i know that edwards is the same as ESP, i'm just wondering why that guitar doesn't say ESP on it...

YOu get your amp in their pay per view vids of them in the studio and you and your kids futures are secure, all you have to do.

tell me about it.

i was ranting the other day about how it seems like the guys that understand the value in a quality instrument are willing to pay whatever it costs to get it, while the artists that can afford to buy anything want you to just give it to them. then i said that i would gladly give one to kirk or jaymz because if they ever used it, i'd be set.

i hear that there's a pretty popular studio in central florida that may be checking one out soon, though. THAT might work out quite nicely.

I agree with this. Custom KL Explorers are around $6000 now. Don't get me wrong they
are awesome guitars but I cannot stomach the price tag though. But I don't mind having
one.

  available on TAX DAY! :aww:

guess they got the release date right!

I hate the ESP cross LP, its so god damn gotty. I'd rather just pinstripe an old LP custom. Thats all I really like about it.

KL's Explorers are amazing works, totally worth it. Just amazing. I have too many guitars, but that does allow me to compare. KL's are as good as it gets. He doesn't sell that many either - I don't think he's getting rich off it all. When I see these ESP sigs, I think yeah, that's too much. But I am so glad I got the nerve up and wrote a check to Ken...it's kind of a standard by which to compare other guitars.

You better start posting pics of your KL. I like his work. Too bad my wallet doesn't.

It does say ESP......

how about this:

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=580895

you're right. for some reason, that looked too big to say ESP and my mind substituted edwards in there.

i've been on a pretty good run of fail lately

Kl explorers are just as nice as any private stock prs, master built fender, gibson, custom shop esp,or Suhr exotic, 6 to 7k is expensive but your getting a guitar built by 1 person. It might be hard on the wallet but they are one of the best guitars money can buy. Ken doesn't advertise and has a 2 yr wait, it's not like he's out there pimpin his stuff to everybody, he is a bass builder and has built around 30 kl explorers in almost 10 yrs. So maybe the price is high but to some it's worth it. Ken does fantastic inlay work.

If he was building mass produced shit guitars and advertising them to try and make a fortune then I can see a reason to complain. Ken doesn't even have a website to show his work, he started one years ago but never finished it.
Most people have never even played a Kl to compare to other high priced stuff because there's so few of it but trust me his guitars sound and play awsome and are worth the wait times. You can built your dream guitar, pick your shape, woods, inlays and whatever u can think of.

I know....so I offered him $35.

75% positive feedback, 8 transactions and he's selling a $35,000 item?

I don't see where I pointed out that KL's work was crap.........................................

I will say though that if Metalli$$$$$$ca never used one he would not be getting that kind of coin. That is a fact.

I'll take 3-4 used Hamer Standards for that price though :D
