Where are you? I'd need to check mine for the hole - I've had a few over the years..
 
Bump...not for everyone who wants to sell their preamp for $600 either, dummies on Reverb(none of the above).

You're gonna be disappointed. ADA's are junk compared to the pre's you already have.

I had one that was modded and my plan was to have Monomyth do his thing...

Just curious, what is the reason why you want an ADA MP1 without with the input switch (line or instrument) on top?
I know that mine has the square hole input selector, and sounds glorious. :)

Todd Langner was a friend of mine and when he modded a MP-1 for me back in the day he told me to mod the one without the switch on top never said why, I wish I knew.
 
Sored a virtually NOS 3TM MP-1 that has all the mods available. The highest gain mod the ultra, the latest firmware, battery and noise mods plus a mercury magnetics transformer upgrade?
