Looking to pick up a Suhr modern satin HSH with gotoh 510 or the tele version. Whatchya’ got?

Does it have to be a satin model or do you like the modern pro flametop models too?

gotta' be mahogany/ Okoume/Korina body and neck

Got the Satin HSH with Gotoh 510, just like you're after.

Love it; it's the best-value Suhr guitar IMHO. The Modern Pro sounds scratchy / thin (on bridge 'bucker) to me. It plays beautifully with its more-refined, slicker neck, but to my ears the Satin beats it hands-down sound-wise, and at roughly half the price. The finish is a bit rough, and you might want to stain it darker as it looks anaemic to me for a mahogany guitar.

The only thing to be aware of is that with all that mahogany (body and neck), it has a distinctive woody sound. It's a great sound, but I'd pair it with a conventional (alder, ash etc.) superstrat if you're tackling multiple genres.
