Hey All,

I'm looking for a VHT 2150 and a 2100, if you all got one or a line on one let me know. Thanks all.

Welcome to reality...mine was a '70 100w supertrem

Join the club! They are nearly impossible to find these days. Has anyone had any experience with the newer Fryette models? I'm starting to think that it may the only option for a good rackmount power amp...

I have a 2502 and have played 2902's. They are very similar to 2150s and 2100s, just that the big brothers seem to have a bit more head room. The 2150 and 2100 are really unnecessary amounts of power, but this is rig-talk and if it is rare and over the top it is awesome.

I have already had someone try and bullshit me on a 2150 and a 2100 sale (off forum), so just a heads up

I have all 4 of the vhts. The 2150 and classic are hard to find( Steve made a run of the classic not too long ago)....but they both do pop up from time to time.
With the 2 big boys, there is quite a noticeable difference. As said,in headroom, but also tighter feel, more authoritive,Crushing low end,and just a more real amp vibe and authentic feel to me anyways.Anything- any preamp of any kind ran thru the big boys just makes them sound better. My small boys,as excellent sounding as they are,are for backup only.

I've said it many times the same way....ANYTHING sent through these just sounds better. Exactly why I will pay more than anyone who sells me a blue 2150

I swore I seen a crazy priced Classic in mirror Purple on TGP. It was a recent reissue Fryette.

Can't find it now
