I just got one from a fellow Rt member and used it last night at band practice.. Totally digging it! It seems to start coming to life with some volume behind it and I am spending way more time on the blue channel than I thought I ever would. The blue channel has a lot more gain than I originally thought. Cleans are pretty nice as well.
Nice amp!

Nice amp!

I'll have mine next week, also got it from a RT member. I have been wanting to try this amp for awhile now.
I recently sold my 101B which I really liked, hope I like this one as much or more.

What kind of cab you using?

You cats KNOW I spew large about my 20thA XTC, EL34 model... It's massive. I love it.

Said it once and will say it again, sonic masterpiece!! Congrats and ya, owning such a beast means it deserves to be cranked, no bedroom level nonsense for this head

BTW, the V30 loaded 20thA cab is a stellar complement to the head. It's massive... Brilliant, brilliant amp. I've had mine for quite some time now, and there's NO honeymoon love with this - it's just 100% awesome

Welcome to the Club!! :salute:

Yeah Brett... I used mine(yours) with my Bogner rear loaded V30's. Sounds great and massive. No spikey, harsh overtones that can be present with the V30's with alot of amps. I think the chewy, woody tones the Bogs produce sound very good with the V30's...and when you get into ch3 with leads..the upper mid bite of V30's help to articulate the notes. I've also heard good things with the Scumback M75/H75 x patterning. She will be on her way out to you within the next 2 hrs. Cheerz bro

I got a chance to play one briefly (about 10 mins) at GC in Dallas today - the 20th.

Really a hot amp - I liked the blue channel best, as well. One thing I noticed is that it had
a thick voice and that the notes held together with sustain for quite a while before feedback.

They're the f*ckin' money... :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

LOVE my 20thA XTC - "no shit Mo"

Lover my Bogner 20th with EL34s into my Bogner OS212. Only difference is I replaced the V30s with WGS ET65/Vet30s! Killer combo!
