So with all this time I ran a portion of my unfinished rack finally and the two 1500s are great delays but I could not for life of me set them up. They are properly connected, function well but my issue is that when the dry signal hits them they delay late. Imagine playing a moment and no immediate sound then they produce sound, please help.

I tried both but now I'm thinking. Does the mix button only apply to one or both connections?

You need to come out of the mixed output on back not the output labeled delay

usermanual.wiki/Yamaha/D1500e.1859605812 Had one decades ago don't remember much but I know I don't really get on with programmable stuff.

The delay output works well on a mixer when youre using a fader for the send level. It is all delay no dry.

Yeah, maybe the dry signal is the problem. I don't have a mixer though. There must be a way.

Tried it, no dice. Still silent when I hit a note then the delayed sound. I also ran the mix from min to max. Pretty frustrating.

Yeah, something is not right. Those even have analog dry and should have no issues with latency or stuff like that, and they are very basic to control. So coming out of the mixed output, the mix control does not bring in the dry signal when you go down from 99? And this occurs on both units? One faulty unit is par for the course with vintage electronics, but if both have the exact same issue we definitely are missing something.

Well I heard of a mod that Bradshaw does where he clips one side of a 4.7k resistor, anyone know about it? It has to do with passing the dry signal.
