Looking for a newer Marshall In A Box pedal..
I'm really intrigued by the Bogner La Grange, JHS @, Friedman BE-OD, Wampler PlexiDrive Deluxe, etc...

I'm more interested in FEEL and ARTICULATION than anything. I'd like it to have ability to do the High Gain and Low Gain thing well with a switch, or turn of a knob. Hopefully in the near future I can get to a place to try each of these out, until then I'm hoping some people can chime in who have played these pedals and give some insight.

Thanks in advance!

What amp are you running it into? They are all great. I like the feel the BE-OD or @ the best. Both will sound good into pretty much anything. Plexi Drive and La Grange have better footswitching options maybe more versatility? La Grange is def voiced in the vintage Marshall realm, but it will do high gain. I think I've seen the Plexi Deluxe on the most pedal boards. If you have the coin I'd suggest you buy all of them or a few at a time from Sweetwater and return what you don't like. I like the BE-OD or @ the Best. I've never played one but the XTS Atomic Overdrive is another MIAB that gets a lot of praise.

you may want to think about the types of sounds and gain structure and EQ you are looking for when evaluating these pedals. Are you looking for AC/DC tones, bluesbreaker tones, plexi tones, etc. Absent are many of these types of pedals from the previous list. JHS Morning Glory, JRocket .45 caliber, ZVEX Box of Rock, Distortion, Weehbo JTM and JCM, Mojohand Magpie, various LovePedal models...the list goes on and on.

Btw, Lovepedal Purple Plexi kicks all kinds of ass.

Sorry, got a little ahead of myself. Looking for High Gain Plexi-ish tones and something that can clean up with a nice JTM feel.

Custom ordered from Menatone. His "The King" is great, but the old 7-knob KOTB was better, so I had him build me one.

You could wait for the Friedman Dirty Shirley pedal. Suppose to be released in August.
