Young Yngwie was the Bach of our Generation...this is really a great performance on her part. She looks totally calm ripping out Yngwie lioks.

He was completely over the top and it was awesome! I saw that very first Rising Force Tour in a smaller club up here and to this day its one of the most incredible shows I've ever seen

Also gotta love that its a violinist playing essentially what Malmsteen's take is on what a violinist would do ala Paganini, or something like that haha

That was badass, enjoyed it. I love that song. I wore it that album so much that when I was in boot camp in the Navy, I could play back every tune in my head all the way through.

That was amazing! What a talented and beautiful young lady!

That was killer. She makes it look easy. Kind of makes you appreciate the percussive ability of guitar even more. For double/triple picked notes and those percussive palm-muted runs there's almost nothing she can do to emulate that.

Agreed....the flip side though is how fluid the notes go together that we can’t emulate?...funny this clip, sent me back down the Yngwie rabbit hole last night

Besides lying about his influences Yngwie is hands down a game changer right after EVH.. not just the blistering speed and scales but from a composition perspective. Incredible really. Furthermore, no matter how many times I mention this, he stated he was drunk through the recording of the Eclipse album. That album has incredible riffs, is super aggressive and has some kick ass arpeggio sequences and playing. That just blows my mind that he wasn't even firing on all cylinders and thought it was a garbage album. Just laying down whatever to get it done. Insane.
