You DIG? Strymon DIG Question

So, I got on on the way to be delivered on Friday. And while aside from an occasional washed out ambient setting, for the most part I am a leave it and forget type of user of delay. Most of the demoes show of the "gimmick" functionality with very few videos of using it for those 80's type hair metal solos (think Dokken, Skid Row,etc..). That being said, the videos I found seemed to do that well minus showing the settings. What appealed to me is the modulation and reverb flavoring it offered as well. If anyone has some suggestions please let me know

I have a Strymon Dig and love it. I am also a set it and forget it guy. I have it in my loop to add a little delay and it works great. I never explored any of the whacky functionality. I keep it set up Type 24/96, Mod off and the Mix set about about 35-40% and don't really touch it otherwise except to turn the Time knob sometimes to my current liking.
