You don’t see this Suhr model very often!

No EMG's??
Any guitar with a Neck attached with wood screws is nowhere near worth that kind of money..
You buy it..

Gilmour's strat brought 3.9m
one of Hendrix's went for 2m
Clapton's Blackie went for 959k
SRV's Lenny went for 623.5k

Never seen that model. Can't say I like that pickguard cosmetic.

Woodscews? Lol. Did Fender have some magical “non-wood” screws that attached the neck in there now 50k plus 62 strats?
This guitar looks cool to me and considering today’s inflated pricing, doesn’t seem like a bad deal. The fact it doesn’t have EMG’s is a major plus IMO.

Reb uses EMGs nowadays, dummies..
Yes, wood screws.. You're brainwashed into thinking its the shit when its not because it's all you know.
I'll take a crafted instrument with a carved top and set or neckthru construction and not a flat plank of shit with a bolton handle I can paddle my boat with. LOL

SRV's main axe was a piece of shit.. You could coble that shit bag together with pawn shop parts.. What makes it valuable is that HE played it.. Because he fuckin wailed, and you don't..

You made the ridiculous comment, not anyone else. Nice argument though. You are clearly smarter than most of us.

Face it.. Fender brought guitars to the masses. They were made to be cheap and affordable.. People played them because that's what was available. They recorded records with them. That's what you listen to..
If he made neckthru's from day 1 you would say a bolton was a cheap POS and quality went down the toilet.. LOL
But carry on and take it in the ass for a cookie cutter hyped guitar..

Ok. You certainly know better than me. Why would I need my own opinion ????

I guess when I grow up and can afford these “neck-through/set neck” instruments you speak of, I’ll be a real man. ??

The tone of my 'bolt ons' far outshines the tone of ANY NUMBER of set neck/neck through guitars I've owned or played. I've only had one, a Jackson SL1 that came close but didn't surpass any of my lowly 'bolt on' USA Charvels. Saying that a set neck/neck through guitar is automatically better than any bolt on guitar is beyond stupid.
Oh wait, I almost forgot....the pro players ALWAYS choose set neck/neck though guitars. Every time.

Not.

Cool guitar.

I much prefer bolt-ons FWIW, and I'm not sure they're cheaper to produce than a set-neck.

I say cover all bases.

This is probably one of the most stupid threads on Rig Talk in a long time.

Those guys were famous, their instruments iconic. I'd hardly put Reb Beach in the same conversation. Great player? Absolutely. An icon? Hardly.

Dude's dreaming with that price.

The headstock has always killed the desire to own a Suhr.
