Howdy ladies and germs! Ok, here we are with part #3 of the "stuck on desert island series,  So,....

Your stuck on a desert island, and you get to choose 1 guitar you just can't do without! Maybe you sold it/ Maybe you still own it? Lets see what the public has to say! If able, post a pic of it!

I'll start it off with my 1986 Charvel Model 3. It is mint, not a mark on it. Baby it. I have plenty guitars, paul's, strats jacksons, etc etc. However, there is just something about this one when playing. It's different from other model 3's I've played. You guys know what i'm talking about, its like the guitar is part of you. Playability, feel, size. Just everything. I can't do without it. God forbid something happens to it,

Sent straight from Heritage to Jay Glaser who pulled all frets and PLEK'd it with new SS frets, then to Jay Wolfe whom I bought it from new. My LP Std is close but this one is just special. I never play it out though, as pretty as it is it just doesn't look as cool as a LP.

Out of all the guitars I have here in the studio, this is the one that leave the biggest smile on everybodys face.
It's an original 1951 Esquire(neck date is Jan 51, body date Dec 50).
In 13 years of vintage guitar dealing in Los Angeles I've only heard one other tele that was more pissed off than this one, and it was an original Broadcaster.
My favorite out of evrything I've already owned.

My '08 Charvel MIA San Dimas Pro Mod, put an American Floyd on it, a Suhr Aldrich in the bridge and I love it.

1995 USA Charvel San Dimas IV, quilted bound Maple top over Koa body, Pau Ferro board. Trans Purple. Very similar to a PC1, but with a Charvel neck profile. Not a mark on it and plays itself.

Miss it. :(

My (new) Mayones Duvell Elite Buckeye Burl MBC. It's the best guitar I've ever played. Utterly perfect.

My favorite guitar is my Siberian Sapphire Majesty but I always seem to end up doing my best work on my American Deluxe Strat

Has to be my Musicman 25th Anniversary, it's just such a versatile guitar.

Damn. Those are both sweet. I don't think I could pick a favorite of those two either! Guess it would come down to tone difference/preference.

I don't know if I could pick a single #1 because I'd be torn on 'useage'...now if we could choose a fav "purely for lead guitar", or a fav "rhythm/crunch" guitar, then it'd be easy. Maybe I don't have a guitar that I feel does everything just right, which of course gives a great excuse to have a handful of guitars.

I've owned many guitars but my favorite to play and the one that gets the most time over the past 5 years has been my '91 Davies N4. I have two but this one is just special. Davies models have something that is a notch above the Washburn made guitars. There isn't anything I would change, except maybe that it's a signature.

No brainer for me, it's my 2000 Les Paul R9 with Wizz PAF's. I can't take my eyes off it or put it down when I'm playing. It truly plays and sounds as good if not better than it looks...it has sent many a guitar packing as a result.

My 2008 PRS Custom 24. I've owned a lot of guitars and a lot of PRS guitars, but this one plays and sounds just that much better than the rest.

To answer the OP, my 1962 Gibson SG Jr. It was my first guitar and it was built the year I was born. It is one of only two musical items that I have ever sold (I still own every thing else I have ever bought) and I regret it to this day. Best guitar ever? No. Sum-bitch barely stayed in tune for a complete song, but it was special. If I still had it I would love it and hug it and squeeze it and play it...

To Steve: Damn, man, You have cool shit. Many men are envious. But I am also a (pseudo) musician and a nerd; We could be friends. Just sayin'
