Your best pedal to push a marshall ??

The best one I have ever tried is a TC Electronic Booster/Line Driver, unfortunately they are not made anymore and cost a shit load used. Still, its a freakin amazing pedal.

Man, right now I'm really diggin' on my Blackstone Appliances Mosfet OD. I'm using it with a Bogner Shiva, which though not a Marshall, is similiar in voice & it's like a match made in heaven!

Just about any EQ or TS-style overdrive works great. I have a custom one-off Bloody Murder OD coming my way in a few days that I'll be messing around with. It's like an over-the-top version of Joe's normal Bloody Murder.
Where did you find that? Thanks

Where did I find what? If you're referring to the OD, I had Joe himself custom make one for me to my specs. It has 3 or 4 diode combination selections, 3 way depth switch, and a few more goodies. I got lucky, because I think my OD is the last OD Joe's going to make.
Was talking about the OD, thats just my luck that he { dont know who Joe is } is not going to make anymore, multiple good comments on that pedal-Dam! Thanks

Fulltone OCD FTW!!! This pedal sounds amazing in front of my JMP. It gets you wherever it is you want to be.

For me it's an OCD v.4 at 18 volts followed by a Lovekraft Mojo Drive with the toggle up. They both stack really well together as well...
I thought the OCD was a 9 volt pedal, your running at 18 volts without problems or noise??

Keeley SD-1  Fulltone OCD is pretty happening to.
Any problems with your keeley?? People seem to love them, or hate them, dont know why. Did you get your DSL yet? Getting monster high-gain tones using a radial hot-british, no gain, only the output as a line-driver, and voicing set to fat, on the LD 1 channel, LD 2 seems too compressed with same setup, too spongy. Definition is way better on LD 1. The radial tightens up everything. Thanks Jim

You can run the OCD at either 9V or 18V. At 18V you get a lot better tone out of it with a little more head room. At 9V it still sounds pretty awesome though. It all depends on what tone you are looking for. In front of a JMP Super Lead this pedal soars. It's a pedal that will never leave my board...

My favorite was the MXR 10 band EQ pedal.
Set the output of the pedal to full (using it as a clean boost basically) and raise the mid frequencies you like a bit. Works great with the amp already distorting, pushes it over the top nicely.
.

Hey

i have one waiting for me at home to try with a jcm800. Are you talking about putting it in front of the amp? i dont have a loop and that was something that was on my mind because people generally put them in the loop right?

>Thanks

Try to find a Furman PQ3. I run one in front of my Rivera and it just smokes. Demartini/Stryper/Aldrich in one nice little package.

I'm sure psychodave and Ralph will back me up

No problems or noise(See bbaug14's post). I think it's real potential is realized at 18 volts. I really liked it a 9 but LOVE it at 18!!!! :inlove:

Fulltone OCD (v.3, incase anyone cares) @ 18 volts does a great job on my Marshall Clone (Splawn QR.)
