I must say my favorite guy is Olaf Krampe and his Duesentrieb amps. Everything olaf creates sounds great.

I also like the dude that builds the Titans, I guess he's becoming more of a pro nowadays

He is very "professional". But if you mean "unknown" then I will say Glen Morris hands down.

If by "non-pro" you mean unknown, I'd say Dave Woodhouse and his Baron amps. But his work is definitely pro. Probably more so than a lot of successful "pros".

+1. Dave's build quality and attention to detail is outstanding, makes a lot of "pro" stuff look like toys by comparison IMHO. Great guy to do business with as well.

All these guy's are True Professionals!!
Just not a household names like Marshall
Mesa, Peavey.

Larry Amplification, Fortin Amplification
Rhodes Amplification, Landry Amplification
Peters Amplification

That said, I want a Larry Dino939
and a Fortin Natas!!

Dan gower..... aka MrDan666
not one of the big names yet but deserves to get there, very professional...
Dan co designed the fortin cali with mike and is responsible for producing the cali mod for customers in europe, he also does other mods in fact Ive just had a new mod from him which is totally outstanding
Ive had four amps from him so far and Ive had very positive experiences with him
His amp mods are absolutely top notch

Rockstah

It's probably more his playing than anything though I guess :)

Glen Morris. Everyone should know about him and his amps. The perplexed is amazing !!

Anyone who makes amps to sell for profit would be a pro. So anyone listed above would probably not be happy to be called a non-pro. lol. Your buddy who builds amps as a hobby would be a non-pro.

A lot of these guys have amp businesses. For a true hobbiest building amps I thought Steve's (sah5150) amp held its own against some pretty weighty competition...one of the coolest builds I've seen/heard.

david bray - his mods are awesome and different from the normal forum mod stuff and his own amp line is killer.

Allyn Meyers at the amp garage. His TW and Komet clones are out of the world!
