I must say my favorite guy is Olaf Krampe and his Duesentrieb amps. Everything olaf creates sounds great.

I also like the dude that builds the Titans, I guess he's becoming more of a pro nowadays

If by "non-pro" you mean unknown, I'd say Dave Woodhouse and his Baron amps. But his work is definitely pro. Probably more so than a lot of successful "pros".

+1. Dave's build quality and attention to detail is outstanding, makes a lot of "pro" stuff look like toys by comparison IMHO. Great guy to do business with as well.

Also his customer service is of the best around. My K88 went down and within a week I got parts and he instructed me everything to get it back up and running again. Hellyeah!

Olaf meanwhile is creating awesome sounding amps and IMO some of the wannabe pros could take lessons from him, how to tailor sounds right.

Man I love his amps, wish I could pull the funds. A KR-12 head and 2x12 would suit me down to the ground. Plus his take on the Vibrolux (Gattone) is the bomb.
