We haven't had one if these in a while. lol... What's your number one goto guitar?
Mine is a 2005 Les Paul Standard loaded with Seymour Duncan pickups. A Custom in the bridge, and a 59 in the neck. I can cover so much ground with this one guitar.
On the honeymoon with this one, just arrived last week and haven't had a chance to take my own pictures yet, but I can't put her down. I haven't enjoyed a NGD so much in a really long time, Luxxtone is no hype. I still love my Charvels, and we'll see how long the honeymoon lasts, but hands down my #1 at the moment:
Still this one...Short Guitars GT LP #003. Mahog back, thick maple top, SS frets, gold MOP inlays, locking Sperzels and locking TonePros bridge, Sigil Bluesmans currently. Blues to metal, no problem. Fattest neck I've ever played on a guitar. Thing rules.
This - 2001 GMW I ordered as a 'replica' of Adrian Smith's main late 80's guitar. Of course I have other short-term favourites, but if I'm having a day when I'm just not feeling it, or getting frustrated with my playing, this one will 'fix' me 95% of the time. And ironically, out of the 40+ guitars I have (silly in itself I know), this is the second cheapest..
Rick is in NY and built this guitar for me using old wood from the area. I had seen a hornless Telle he made, and we incorporated that into this Strat/Telle hybrid.
Body - Pine from the Chumley Speakeasy
Neck - 1 Piece Fur - No Truss - from the Chelsea Hotel
