post up "Your" Standard/Suggested settings for VH, Big Rock, AC/DC, favorite artist, Whatever...

I try and run git/Cord/tuner/Head... Ocassionally wah, phaser, boost...otherwise
(Let the house figure out verb, I manage solo-boost from the rig) basically, as dry as possible, just the tubes please... ANOTHER +1 for the Surreal Head, hard bypass on the loop...

But when inserting the Intellifex, or Midiverb... ?

keep it simple, you gear whores, no re-amping! lol... :gethim:

Accutronics Spring Reverb tank- fitted to the amp. I set the Reverb to 2 and leave it there.

Eventide Time Factor:
Tape Echo/300 ms/1 repeat/20%

My Go-to delay setting is with my Boss DM-2. Time maxed out, which is about 350ms, and repeats and echo (mix) set about 10:00. This is already a pretty subtle pedal, so it's just the right touch. As for reverb, I like about a 1.7 second medium hall for most clean playing. No verb for dirty.

i actually do not use reverb/delay as a standard setting, reverb soaks up/squashes a tight rhythm sound and delay makes a mess out of odd time signatures.

ill click on a fractional bit of reverb to fill out the lead notes and give a more rounded note, along with a level boost of some sort for the solo itself and to also compensate for the lost-in-the-mix attitude of any reverb in a band setting. but other than that i try to keep the effects off and the amplifiers 100% dry for pre-recording, add in the effects post recording or only during solos live.
