I had VH in rotation on the iPod the other day .... for me, there's no better band ever. It's very rare that they have a song I just don't like (from the Dave days anyway)

Romeo Delight

Yeah .... I stayed away from the hits.... these are the ones from the Dave days that have the most badassness of the bunch

Those songs to me have great replay value. Have to be in the mood for it though like anything else.

Aerosmith live 1978 bootleg, what an AWESOME song... Bob, or anyone, do you know what the hell Steven Tyler says at the start of that song just after the drums start before the bass line kicks in. He stammers something out - always thought the phrasing of what he said was awesome, super catchy, but never knew what it was he was actually saying :lol: :LOL:

No idea in fact, haven't heard that bootleg for years so I can't even hear it in my head, although I do hear some other voices.
 
His phrasing is killer - like a little skit-skat going on, I've always remembered this bit, and men, I've been listening to this song since I was under 10 years old!!

My top 5 would be off the first few albums, for sure. However, for honourable mention, I have to admit that I really dug this song when the album came out, and it still holds its own......Thankfully the song is better than the video. :lol: :LOL:
