What's hilarious is I can hear the detriment to the affect of achieving Dime's Vulgar tone with tubes. It really needs to be solid state. The Krank is too warm compared to the original Randall. It's probably as close as a tube amp can get. I played a Dime Sig Krank before and thought the metal tone was pretty good. These amps seem to get bagged on quite a lot but I thought it sounded just as good as most other high gain amps I'd tried for chugging and metal.
